Moritat re-roll edit
Please elaborate further. Yeah, pistols fire independently but the % is the same for each, so the mean would be 2*x/2 = x. I'm saying that each gun has (1/6)(1/6)=2.7% chance of resuming fire. Should have mentioned that it was 5.5% on his 200% (from 2 guns, ik). But still, where does that full 16.6% comes from? -- Zerghalo2 (talk) 16:47, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry but I don't really understand what you intend for "resuming fire"...I mean, I don't really see why you would multiplicate 1/6*1/6, because my idea is that "resuming" means to restart AFTER a 1 is rolled, 'cause that is the peculiarity of the Imperial Fist Moritat. So the 16.6% is the 1/6 chance of resuming your fire after you rolled a 1. I'm sorry if I wasn0t clear, i'll reiterate that a little: when an imperial fist moritat shot, he always hit on a 2+. That's a given. Then, he accidentally rolls a 1, but that first one is not in my calculation, 'cause that is the error that would stop any other moritat save the Imperial Fist Moritat. He, on the other hand, has another chance, and need a 6 to actually resume it, and that's the 16.7% I was speaking off :) Hekaloth (talk) 18:10, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
- So that's where our disagreement was. I meant "resume fire" as "the total chance of screwing up but rolling a 6 afterwards OMG-I-hope-Dorn-sempai-didn't-see-that-one". 'Resume fire', it's an Imperial Fist thing. How would you call this missing-but-fixing-it thing instead? -- Zerghalo2 (talk) 18:27, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
- Actually I would still call it "resuming fire", 'cause it really is a resuming fire xD although it still wouldn't be my first thought even knowing it...and if we changed the wording altogheter to make it completely clear and simple? Something like: "and he still has a 1/6 chance to keep his Chain Fire on even after rolling a 1" or similar?
