Hyperphase Weapons

Honestly, that is a good question. I believe that the reason why the Hyperphase weapons was placed in the Power Weapon page was because lexicanum classified a few of them under the power weapon category. So there was a big question mark on where it would be placed. Didn't help that the Hyperphase Sword was classified as a power weapon for a long, long time, so when there was the big expansion on the hyperphase weapons, logically those new weapons was placed in the power weapon page. So now the question is whether the hyperphase weapons are actually a C'tan phase weapon or just another fancy name for a Necron power weapon. Whilst in practice, they perform similar, the biggest difference is that the one thing that makes a C'tan Phase weapon a C'tan Phase weapon is that it must be made from the same metallic bodies as a C'tan god, hence the name, C'tan Phase weapon. Hyperphase weapons are just very advanced blades that vibrate across dimensions, no Eldritch fuckery going on here, just science. So by nature, Hyperphase weapons are more closer to functionality of Power Weapons than a C'tan Phase weapon as the former envelopes itself in a sort of energy field that cuts through everything, albeit the Hyperphase uses dimensions as cutting power. It is why Lexicanum haven't categorise these weapons as a C'tan Phase weapon yet. I hope that answers and differentiate the confusion here. Derpysaurus (talk) 17:15, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
