They aren't allowed to be used in supplements? When did that change happen? Because both Illithids and Beholders were in the Lords of Madness--Emerald Claw (talk) 20:41, 11 October 2016 (UTC)
- It means they're a no-go for third party stuff using the D20 OGL. - Biggus Berrus (talk) 21:00, 11 October 2016 (UTC)
- Lords of Madness is a official supplement by WotC. Just because it's official and only available via purchase or piracy doesn't mean it's not a "supplement". If the policy that Lords of Madness was printed under still exists unchanged, then it is allowed to be used in supplements... by WotC.--Emerald Claw (talk) 01:57, 12 October 2016 (UTC)
- It was just miswritten by whoever wrote that part, of course WotC can use Beholders in their own books. - Biggus Berrus (talk) 08:19, 12 October 2016 (UTC)
