Green Ronin Publishing is an indy/3rd-party game publishing company for tabletop RPGs that began its life as Ronin Publishing in 1996, before rebranding in the 2000s. Like a lot of the small RPG companies from the tail-end of the 90s, Green Ronin hitched its wagon to the OGL Boom caused by Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition in 2000 - unlike many of its contemporaries, Green Ronin's combination of 3rd party D&D books, original games, and thinly veiled tinkerings of D&D allowed it to survive and even thrive well after 3e's death, and they are still publishing as late as 2024. Games produced by Green Ronin Publishing have varied from original properties to licensed game tie-ins of popular media franchises to D20 adaptations - they were even involved in the 2nd edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay!
