For all your tech-heresy needs. Also roll on the regular Adeptus Mechanicus Forge World Creation Tables for further details. For further fluffing, use the Planet generator and System generator tables as well.

Forge World Type[edit]

d10 Forge World Style
1-3 Undivided Cult: Serves the forces of Chaos as a whole (individual worshippers may still be found).
4-5 Devoted Worshippers: Serves one Chaos God or Warp Entity in particular.
6-7 Heretekal Cabal: They're here for the freedom from Mechanicus dogma. Chaos, or non-Chaos Renegades controlling the Sector, is just their best or only possible customer.
8-10 False Prophets: Avid servants of the "real" Omnissiah, or at least they think they are. View "Loyal" Forge Worlds as heathens and fools who do not truly understand the will of the Machine God as they do.

Fall to Heresy[edit]

d10 Forged in darkness, or recent convert? Perhaps never even saw the light?
1–5 Willing Convert: This Forge World betrayed the Imperium during or since the Horus Heresy
6-8 Conquered World: Once populated by loyalist forces, this world was brought to heel, and its Priests assimilated.
9 Insidious Cult: This planet still masquerades as a loyalist world, and few suspect their true motives.
10 Defiant World: This Forge World never submitted to the will of the Imperium, and has managed to keep it that way, whether through martial strength, cunning or simple isolation. Alternatively, it may have been colonized by human populations outside of Imperial control such as those that dwell in the Eye of Terror.

d10 Heretechnical Speciality
1 Possessed - Binding daemons of all kinds to anything more complicated than a screwdriver is a speciality of this world. These items may demand sacrifices before being used, activate of their own accord, or even outright rebel against their wielder if the Daemon within is displeased.
2 Xenos Tech - Incorporating the scraps of forbidden xenotech from old battlefields or new raids, the tech-priests of this world fuse everything from Eldar Shuriken Launchers to Rak'Gol Rad-Axes into their weapons. This makes the Forge's weapons highly variable in function and appearance, ranging from lasguns with a Shuriken Cannon's sights, to twin-linked Bolters able to fire bolts and Prism Rifle shots as the user wills. Think Stygies VIII, except taken to the utmost extreme.
3 Fleshwoven - Bioengineering is ubiquitous on this world, and its outputs are no different. Wires replaced with nerves, muscles fusing with the metal of loading mechanisms, triggers made out of still-living fingers - the more grotesque and Geiger-esque, the better.
4 Stolen and Defiled - Stealing wreckage or capturing Imperial, Chaotic, and Xenos vehicles, armour, and weapons alike, this world's speciality lies in salvaging and corrupting once-holy vehicles and STC-based technology.
5 Toxic or Radioactive - Designed to leave the battlefield as desolate as an Dead World, every shell, every weapon, every single product of this forge either crackles with radioactivity or drips exotic poisons. Particularly powerful Forges may even infuse Phosphex-like compounds into each weapon's ammunition, or unleash Warp-spawned poisons with every shot or stroke.
6 A.I. Designed - Using blasphemous Silica Animi to direct their research projects, the weapons of this forge are efficient and lethal in the way that only weapons designed by an entirely inhuman intelligence can be. Though free of any human imperfections, their complexity makes them rather difficult for the unskilled to operate, to say nothing of the A.I's potential antipathy towards its masters.
7 Cursed - Created through sorcerous means, the products of this forge are powerful double-edged swords: A mere lasgun may cut through ceramite with ease, at the cost of draining the wielder's soul with each shot; alternatively, a set of powered armour from these forges may carry a curse that renders its wearer far more susceptible to daemonic possession.
8 Blasphemous Design - Ranging from entirely innovation-based designs to patterns derived from the modification of STC templates, the weapons and armour of this world massively diverge from what even many in the Dark Mechanicus would consider acceptable.
9 Enslaved Sentience - On this forge world, even death is not a respite - any souls that die in the making of a product are enslaved and bound to it, with the Warp-forged weapons and armour gradually consuming these trapped souls with each shot delivered and each strike withstood.
10 Reroll twice on this list - Having sunk particularly deep into heresy, this Forge World specialises in more hereteknical arts than the norm.

Heretek Forces[edit]

d5 Primary Army Composition (others still present, this is what the world's armed forces are mainly formed of)
1 Dark Skitarii: A force of augmented cultists. Reliable, but expendable.
2 War Machines: The Forge World maintains a selection of devastating war engines, ready to spread ruin to the enemy.
3 Servitor Horde: A horde of broken wretches called from the depths of the Forge World.
4 Elite Warriors: Genebulked beasts, skilled kill teams, or augmented assassins; whatever the flavour, they are small in number, but deadly.
5 Traitor Astartes: A Warband of Chaos Space Marines use the Forge World as a Base of Operations or at least will march with its armies. This might be due to them doing so in return for the hereteks producing wargear and lesser warriors as cannon fodder, both forces sharing allegiance to the same god(s), or even the Forge World doing unholy things to captured Gene-Seed and aiding in the creation of new Chaos Space Marines for the warband. Or perhaps the Forge World is the thrall, and the Warband the master.
