The d4 is a pointy sort of die (think of a pyramid) that can cause grievous foot injuries if left unchecked. The d6 (you probably already know what one looks like but if you don't its a cube), on the other hand, is still able to fuck you up, but less so since its a flat face instead of a point.
This wiki is sort of like that, except on the Internet. It uses this copyright license, for legal reasons.
